Agreement and service scope
These Terms of Service govern access to DawaSmart, a Safravo Limited product. By creating an account, accepting an invitation or using the service on behalf of a pharmacy, clinic, hospital or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for that organisation.
DawaSmart provides configurable pharmacy and healthcare operations workflows. The modules available to a facility depend on its approved subscription, implementation scope and assigned user permissions.
Accounts and authorised users
The facility administrator is responsible for maintaining accurate account information, inviting authorised users, assigning suitable permissions and promptly removing access when it is no longer needed.
- Keep account credentials confidential and do not share access between people.
- Use DawaSmart only from approved devices, networks and locations where appropriate.
- Notify Safravo promptly if you suspect unauthorised access or a security incident.
- Ensure staff use the service only within their assigned role and facility branch.
Facility responsibilities
Facilities remain responsible for their clinical, pharmaceutical, financial and operational decisions. DawaSmart supports workflows and records; it does not replace professional judgement, statutory registers, clinical protocols or obligations imposed by regulators, payers or insurers.
- Maintain the accuracy, completeness and lawful basis of data entered into the workspace.
- Obtain any necessary notices, consents and authorisations from patients, staff, suppliers and other data subjects.
- Comply with applicable Kenyan laws, professional standards and facility policies.
- Review outputs, reports, invoices and clinical records before relying on them for care, dispensing, billing or compliance decisions.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse DawaSmart, interfere with its operation, attempt to access data or accounts without permission, introduce malicious code, reverse engineer the service except where law permits, or use the service for unlawful, fraudulent or harmful activity. We may investigate and suspend activity that reasonably appears to breach these terms or place the service, users or data at risk.
Trials, subscriptions and payment
Trial access, plan limits, pricing, billing cycles and enabled modules are shown during registration, in the workspace or in an applicable order form. Paid access continues only while the relevant subscription remains active and charges are paid when due.
- A trial may end automatically unless a paid plan is activated.
- Plan changes and additional branches, users or modules may change fees or implementation requirements.
- We may suspend or limit access after reasonable notice where payment remains overdue.
- Except where required by law or agreed in writing, fees paid for an active billing period are non-refundable.
Customer data and privacy
The facility retains its rights in the data it enters into DawaSmart. Safravo processes that data to deliver, secure and support the service, as described in the Privacy Policy and any applicable data-processing agreement. The facility is responsible for determining which users may access its workspace and which data each role may view or manage.
Availability, support and changes
We work to keep DawaSmart reliable and to provide practical support, but the service may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance, updates, third-party outages, connectivity issues or events outside our reasonable control. We may improve, change or retire a feature while preserving the core service commitment applicable to your plan or written agreement.
DawaSmart intellectual property
Safravo and its licensors retain all rights in DawaSmart, including its software, designs, documentation, trademarks and content. Subject to these terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant the facility a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right for its authorised users to access the service during the subscription period.
Suspension and termination
Either party may end the service in accordance with the applicable plan or written agreement. Safravo may suspend or terminate access where there is material breach, persistent non-payment, a security risk, unlawful use or a legal requirement. Before closure, facilities should arrange export of records they are required to retain, subject to the applicable data terms.
Disclaimers and liability
DawaSmart is provided on an "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. Safravo does not provide medical, pharmaceutical, legal, tax or regulatory advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Safravo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for a facility's professional, clinical or business decisions. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, unless a signed written agreement says otherwise. We may revise these terms from time to time; material changes will be communicated through DawaSmart or another appropriate channel. Questions can be sent to info@safravo.co.ke or +254 746 289 413.
