  • 7-day free trial for pharmacies, clinics and Level 2–3 hospitals. No card, no commitment.
  • Free installation and setup, including your products, services and price list.
  • Staff training — free for pharmacies and one-time KES 2,500 for clinics. Level 2–3 hospitals pay a one-time KES 15,000 onboarding fee for on-site training and data migration. Both are waived on annual plans.
  • Pay yearly and get 2 months free — 12 months for the price of 10.
  • Updates, backups and phone support.

Good to know

  • Prices are in KES per month, exclusive of VAT. Each plan includes the branches and staff shown; groups with more get a custom price.
  • SMS and WhatsApp messages are sent through your own provider account and billed by that provider.
  • M-Pesa transaction charges are set by Safaricom and are not included.
  • Hardware — receipt printers, barcode scanners, tablets and internet — is supplied by the facility.
  • Plans can be upgraded at any time; the difference is pro-rated.

Questions before you choose?

When does billing start?

After your 7-day free trial. Installation and setup are free and happen during the trial, so you are live before you pay anything.

Are the prices inclusive of VAT?

No. All prices are in Kenyan Shillings per month, exclusive of VAT. Each plan includes the branches and staff shown.

How are hospitals priced?

By facility level. Level 2 and 3 facilities pay the published monthly price. Level 4 hospitals and above get an individual quote that covers implementation and data migration, on-site training and a support agreement. Every hospital plan includes the full outpatient and inpatient modules.

Can we start on a pharmacy plan and move to a clinic plan later?

Yes. Your data, staff and stock stay exactly where they are. We switch on the outpatient modules and move you to a clinic plan; the difference is pro-rated.

Do I pay more when your prices change?

No. If you are already on DawaSmart when we change our prices, you keep paying what you pay today for your plan. New prices apply to new customers and new plans.

Do you offer custom prices?

Yes, for pharmacy chains, groups of clinics and Level 4 hospitals and above. Talk to us and we set a price for your account; paying it from the app, the web or M-Pesa Paybill starts your plan.

How do I pay?

By M-Pesa (STK push or Paybill) or card from inside DawaSmart. A payment for your plan price activates or renews the subscription automatically; annual payments get two months free.
